Busta Rhymes and The Game

For those who will be around Moncton May 30th should check out Busta Rhymes and The Game live in concert at the Moncton coliseum. Tickets are 60 bucks and you'll get to see two hip hop heavyweights. I know I'll be going.

Two posts in one day! I came across this gem in winter of 2007.

Sway - Thief's Theme Freestyle

Sway is a rapper from London, UK (as you can tell from his accent). This track basically attacks American hip-hop from all sides. And for the record he actually has no beef with Nas. Seriously. The track is basically a response to Nas' album "Hip Hop Is Dead". He admittedly likes Nas.

Lupe is nice.

I must admit I am awful at headline titles... Regardless, Lupe Fiasco has announced plans to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania to raise awareness for the water crisis that the world faces. He got my attention. Stop wasting water. Take shorter showers and never flush your toilets ever again. Piss outside. Just playin'.

Lupe's reaction once told Mt. Kilimanjaro was Africa's highest peak.

I found out a couple days ago that the Roots and Beastie Boys are playing at Osheaga in Montreal! Might have to scrap All Points West for Osheaga this year.
